All orders are charged in Pound Sterling (£). Conversions to USD and EUR are just estimates for your convenience.
If applicable, sales taxes will be added at checkout – no surprises, I promise!

Each piece at JemStones is handcrafted with love, just for you. So, do allow me 2-4 weeks to work my magic before your item is ready to ship.

SHIPPING
Here’s the scoop on shipping: The times below are what Royal Mail aims for, but hey, I can’t make promises on their behalf. What I can promise is that I’ll do my part on time.
If you choose shipping without tracking, that’s on you, my dear. I highly recommend going for tracked shipping – peace of mind, right?

Shipping charges will be shown at checkout. I strongly suggest you select the tracked shipping option at checkout. I am not responsible for lost packages sent without tracking. No replacements will be offered for untracked parcels. Delivery times vary greatly depending on your location and postal service chosen. Please contact us before placing your order if you would like more details. Please be aware that customs/duties/VAT charges may be applied to packages as they enter your country. Andrea Shelley Designs is not responsible for these charges. As a business, I am required to comply with the law and state the full value of your purchase on the package – no exceptions will be made.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
ALL SALE/CLEARANCE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE
Let’s talk returns, darlings. I’m all for you finding that perfect piece that makes your heart sing. But if it doesn’t quite hit the right note, no worries! You can return it for a full refund (minus shipping costs). Just drop me a line within 7 days of receiving your sparkly parcel for how to send it back.
Got it as a gift? How lovely! You can return it for store credit, no problem.
Remember, returned items should be just like new – unworn, undamaged, and tucked into their original packaging.
Heads up: Custom or personalised items, including those with engraving, are yours for keeps as they can’t be returned or exchanged.
REPAIRS
I want your JemStones pieces to be lifelong companions. To help with that, check out our jewellery care guide to keep them looking fab. Just so you know, wear and tear isn’t covered, so treat them with love.
If you have a bit of a mishap with your piece, let’s chat. I’m always here to discuss repair options. Repairs start at £25, and if there’s damage, you’ll need to cover the shipping to and fro.
Spot damage when it arrives? Oh no! Tell me within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and broken item. We’ll sort it out, promise.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
As a one-woman show, every order has me doing a little jig of joy! I often get cracking on orders pronto, so if you need to cancel, let me know ASAP. But keep in mind, any fees for cancelling are on you.
Once your order’s in the post, it’s out of my hands – you’ll need to wait for it and then initiate a return if needed.

Ah, sterling silver – your go-to for everyday glamour. It’s durable, easy to look after, and won’t have you breaking the bank like gold might.
Now, silver does tarnish (gets a bit dark) when it hangs out with air, but no stress! A quick rub with a soft polishing cloth, or this nifty hands-off cleaning method, will have it shining in no time.
Guess what? The best way to keep tarnish at bay is to wear your silver pieces regularly. The natural friction from your skin helps keep it bright. Feel free to rock your sterling in the shower* or bed, but do take it off for rough-and-tumble activities to avoid any oopsies.
Jewellery is a bit like a fairy – delicate and magical. Protect it from hard knocks, scratches, and harsh chemicals. Always remember to remove your bling for sports, swimming, gardening, or cleaning adventures.
*Quick note: sterling silver is shower-safe, but some stones (like pearls) aren’t fans of water or soap. If your piece has stones, it’s better to play it safe and take it off. Not sure? Just give me a shout, and I’ll let you know!”
“Got a thing for that moody, dark silver look? Oxidized silver is your jam. It’s silver that’s been given a dip in Liver of Sulfur for a chic, blackened finish. It’s semi-permanent, evolving beautifully over time. I’ve given it a little food-grade wax coat to keep the colour longer, but here’s how you can help it stay gorgeous:
Be a bit careful with lotions and perfumes – they’re not the best mates with oxidized silver. Remember to slip off your rings when washing up, and keep them safe and dry when you shower or snooze.
And just like all precious things, it needs a gentle touch. Keep it away from rough play, harsh chemicals, and abrasive situations. It’s best to take off all your jewels when you’re up for activities like sports or gardening.

“Ah, gold – the classic. Whether it’s 10, 14, or 18 karats, this beauty won’t tarnish or lose its colour. It’s tougher than silver, so less prone to dents and scratches. But, like all precious things, it still loves a bit of care.
Keep it away from harsh chemicals and rough stuff. The good news? You can pretty much wear your gold all the time – it’s that hardy.
But remember, gold doesn’t play well with chlorine, so take it off for your swims. If it gets a bit dull, let it have a spa day in warm, soapy water for 15 minutes, then gently brush it with a new, soft toothbrush. Always dry it off before tucking it away.”
“Gold fill – the middle ground between solid gold and gold plating. It’s not solid gold all the way through, but it’s got a good thick layer of the shiny stuff. Think of it as gold plating’s tougher big sister.
